Come discuss with us what “the good life” means to Unitarian-Universalists. What does the good life mean to you, and how does being UU relate to it? How does our church support the good life for us and for others? How does the good life relate to community, spirituality, social justice, wisdom, and other goals of our beloved community? How do the lives and works of past Unitarians and Universalists reveal their understanding of the good life? In our society today, who promotes healthy views of the good life and who promotes unhealthy views?
Last year we discussed liberalism several times. How does liberalism relate to the good life? What about alternatives to liberalism?
For this topic, we are having a special Saturday daytime session in addition to our regular Thursday evening session. We know that Saturday daytime is better for some people than Thursday evening, and we want it to be easy for you to attend our sessions. Come to either session or both.
Bring your experience and your curiosity.
The 4th Principle Dialogue Group promotes the “free & responsible search for truth & meaning,” pursuing the congregational goal of Connected Community. We get to know each other and connect to each other through meaningful, open-hearted dialogue. Drop-ins welcome. Homework not required. See more in UU Connect.
