Registration open for Saturdays, March 7 & 14, 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. in person or via Zoom
Whether you’re new to UUC, a long-time leader, or somewhere in-between, this class is for you. You’ll learn about Unitarian Universalism and University Unitarian Church in this two-session, interactive course. You’ll meet others who are likewise exploring the church and ready to go deeper, as well as long-time volunteer leaders and church staff who will share their journeys and insights.
This course will take place at UUC on two Saturday mornings, in-person or via Zoom. We’ll meet March 7 and 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Zoom link for those wishing to attend virtually will be provided shortly before the program to all who pre-register. Coffee, tea, and morning refreshments will be provided each day.
Childcare may be available if requested ahead of time. Children will be welcome to enjoy morning snacks with you when you arrive, and may take some with them to the Children’s Suite.
During our time together on these two Saturdays, our speakers will invite us to understand how these aspects of Unitarian Universalism are experienced individually and as a congregation:
- UU history, theology & worship
- Connection and engagement
- Being and becoming the Beloved Community
- Stewardship and growth
Some outside reading or videos may be recommended, but this course is built around shared interactions and discussion while we meet.
There is no charge for these classes. Please register in advance and plan to attend both dates. (If you must miss a class, you can make it up during a future Exploring UU course, which are offered quarterly or so.)
IMPORTANT: Be sure to click the final blue "Register" button at the end of the registration form to submit your registration. Look for your confirmation notice via email. If you do not receive your confirmation within a few minutes, you are not fully registered.
Health Safety Requests: Please STAY HOME if you have symptoms of cold or flu, whether or not you test positive for COVID-19 or other communicable illness. You are always welcome to join via Zoom.
If you need assistance with the registration process, please email office@uuchurch.org or call the church office at (206) 525-8400.
Minimum enrollment for this course to proceed: 8
