Sunday, October 19

All Ages Worship services at 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. in the chapel and via live stream

Aria Curtis, UUC's Director of Family Ministry, will lead the services with Revs. Doug Wadkins and Victoria Poling. Through story, song, and ritual, we will explore what it means to practice compassion for ourselves and others, especially when it is hard or when we are angry or sad.

As usual, the Soul Work Table and Fidget Cart will be available in the back of the chapel. We will also have our Prayground set up at the front of the chapel, with additional materials for children to engage with the service topic in hands-on and tangible ways. And we have some new Prayground carpets for young folks to come check out this Sunday!

Music by the All Voices Choir; Cally Lindenmier, mezzo; and Dwight Beckmeyer, piano.

Order of Service

Once a month during the program year, usually on the third Sunday of the month, our entire church community gathers for All Ages services: meaningful, vibrant, and engaging multi-age worship. These services often include stories, embodied spiritual practice and ritual, and easy-to-sing music.

Childcare for the youngest children will be available, as usual, in the Children's Suite during both services.

Sunday worship at UUC includes music, reflection, sermon, and connection, with informal Coffee & Conversations afterwards in Nathan Johnson Hall. UUC Worship Services are also live streamed and available for later viewing.
