What Is Giving at UUC?

In the Unitarian Universalist tradition, members are responsible for providing financial support for all operations and programs of their congregation. So how do we—the members and friends of University Unitarian Church—honor and sustain our church’s 110-year history?

This church is a community of ourselves.

UUC members and friends share their TIME, TALENT, and TREASURE. Generosity is one of our core values as Universalist Unitarians, as reflected in the words we say together each Sunday.

Explore ways to get involved at UUC and share your gifts. Together, we Awaken Spirit, Nurture Hope, and Inspire Action.

We are ALL stewards of UUC.

What Is Stewardship?

  • Taking care of what we value so it can grow
  • Providing support for our community, our staff, the UUC home, etc.
  • Ensuring the future of UUC for those who follow us

Why Provide Financial Support?

  • To steward the UUC community
  • To put your values into action
  • To give back
  • To help the church budget appropriately
  • Because generosity nurtures the soul
