UUC's UU the Vote Team is meeting on Sunday, August 16, after the service, to prepare Reclaim Our Vote postcard packets for Texas and Virginia midterms. We will also discuss strategies for working with groups in the church and beyond to get the postcards all completed by the mailing deadlines of mid-September to early October to support "Get Out the Vote" efforts for key areas in those states.

We also want to talk about getting involved in Voter Registration and educating people about the initiatives on the ballot that we mentioned in our previous article:

• League of Women’s Voters posted this information about the Anti-Trans Girls and Women in sports initiatives: https://www.lwvwa.org/NO-on-I-638-and-I-001. The campaign opposing these initiatives is No Hate in WA State: https://nohateinwastate.org.
