Our Science Book Group offers an opportunity for members and friends of UUC to exercise our curiosity to explore, discuss, and celebrate the wonders of science and the natural world. Intellectual discourse, reason, and the scientific process has long been a respected and well integrated part of the Unitarian liberal religious tradition. Drop-in attendance is welcome. It is not necessary to have read the book under discussion—listeners are welcome too.

Note from Viv Ilo: I put the book Parasite Rex last for a few reasons. It looks like most of us will have to buy it, which is not a real big deal because there are many used copies available. However, the book is over 26 years old. I know a lot of us voted for it, but we may want to do a little more research on what has changed in the past 26 years on this topic. In the past we have not enjoyed reading outdated books.
