Sunday, February 1, live music at 4:30 p.m.; show at 5:30 at Hidden Hall
The Idaho Pro-Voice Project is hosting an event in the Seattle area (Fremont) on Sunday, February 1. Speak Easier: Bridging the Abortion Divide is an interactive performance exploring the Idaho-Washington connection when it comes to healthcare. As Seattle continues to serve as a critical "refuge city" for reproductive healthcare in the Northwest, The Pro-Voice Project focuses on the human stories behind the policy. Speak Easier will bring together ideologically diverse Idahoans and Washingtonians for an evening of storytelling, candid conversation, and live music.
- Location: Hidden Hall, 400 N 35th St, Seattle, WA 98103
- Time: Live Music 4:30 | Show 5:30 p.m.

More from Rev. Sara LaWall (she/her), Minister, Boise Unitarian Universalist Fellowship:
Dear Seattle Area-ish Colleagues,
You all know Idaho has one of the strict abortion bans in the country and that together with partner organizations we are doing everything we can to help move the needle. I am involved in this incredible organization called The Pro-Voice Project which works to reduce the stigma, silence and shame around abortion through storytelling, cultivating spaces for healing and collective action.
I have been directly involved in three storytelling projects here in Idaho featuring both real-life abortion stories and the stories from Physicians on the front lines of care. We've had a loss of 43% of Idaho physicians since [the 2022 Dobbs v. Jackson Supreme Court decision].
