Donate Blood at UUC

Tuesday, March 31, 11 a.m.–5 p.m. by appointment (or drop-in, if scheduling allows)

From Bloodworks Northwest:

We’re still looking for 36 generous donors to roll up their sleeves and donate blood at our University Unitarian Church on March 31—and we’re calling on you to help make a life-saving impact. Did you know that in America, over 42,000 blood products are used by patients every day? That's one blood transfusion needed every two seconds. These life-saving transfusions are crucial for treating acute care needs like trauma and childbirth-related blood loss, as well as managing diseases such as cancer, surgeries, and organ transplants, and more. The need for blood is constant, not just during major disasters. If you're eligible, will you commit to donating? To sign up, visit https://www.bloodworksnw.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/redirectgroup.html?s=1352 or call 1-800-398-7888.
