Worship Services

Sunday, April 19, 9:30 & 11:15

 

With much anticipation, the Ministerial Search Team invites you to a special Sunday of connection! Please join us on April 19 at 9:30 or 11:15 a.m. to warmly welcome our Ministerial Candidate, Rev. Jeremiah Kalendae, as they lead us in worship.

 

12:15 p.m. – Light lunch in Nathan Johnson Hall,

1–2 p.m. – Candidate forum in the chapel

 

Following a light lunch in NJ Hall, we warmly invite all UUC members and friends to a Forum with our Ministerial Candidate, Rev Jeremiah Kalendae. Come prepared to engage, listen, and discern together as a community! Everyone is encouraged to submit questions in advance before or after worship on Sunday, April 19, or via email to the Ministerial Search Team.

Justice at the Table: Vision & Partnership

Join our ministerial candidate, Rev. Jeremiah, for a light dinner and spirited conversation about social justice at UUC.

What fills you with pride about UUC's social justice ministries, and who are we called to be in this moment? We'll share our experiences, our motivations, and the stories that have shaped our commitments, and Rev. Jeremiah will share stories from their social justice ministries as well. Together, we'll explore the question: Who are we called to be in this moment?

All-Church Potluck: Families, Young Adults & Everyone!

Friday, April 24, 5–7:30 p.m. in Nathan Johnson Hall

Join Rev. Jeremiah for a lively all-ages potluck celebrating community and the energy of families, children, teens and young adults at UUC.

We'll have activity tables for all ages, space for children, teens and young adults to gather and chat with our candidate, and plenty of good food and conversation. Everyone is welcome—bring your kids, bring your friends, bring yourself!

Bring a ready-to-serve dish to share.

Worship Service with Rev. Jeremiah Sunday, April 26, 10:00 a.m.

Special Congregational Meeting 11:30 a.m.


Join us for a meaningful Sunday as Rev. Jeremiah Kalendae leads worship at 10:00 a.m. (Please note that there will only be a single service.)

Following the service at 11:30 a.m., the Board of Trustees invites the congregation to gather for a Special Congregational Meeting and an important vote: whether to call Rev. Jeremiah Kalendae as UUC's senior minister. There will be time for questions, discussion, and discernment together.

We hope to see you there for this significant moment in our community's journey.
