Fall Music Sunday

Sunday, November 2, both services (9:30 and 11:15 a.m.)

Plan now to attend the special Fall Music Sunday services on Sunday, November 2. The Loft Choir and soloists, conducted by Karen P. Thomas, UUC Director of Music, will present two pieces about humanity's relationship with the natural world.

"Serenade to Music" by Ralph Vaughan Williams sets texts by Shakespeare that represent the beauty of music in nature and our collective responses to it.

"The World is Charged" by Karen P. Thomas sets the poetry of Gerard Manley Hopkins, and explores the harm that human progress has inflicted on the natural world, and how we can bring regeneration to the broken world by caring for and protecting it.

This is a great service to invite your friends to attend! We advise arriving early to get a good seat.
