A Vigil of Hope and Peace

Sunday, December 21, 10:30–11 a.m., meet in the UUC Memorial Garden

The Unitarian Universalist Side with Love team shares: “At a time when fear, violence, and extraction dominate our politics and our planet, we practice another way. We believe love is not fragile; it is fierce. It grounds our organizing, fuels our imagination, and sustains our communities.”

UUC's Acting for Racial Justice Team is leading a vigil in front of our church to proclaim love of peace and freedom from violence and fear and share hope for a kinder, more just, and compassionate future for all.

Let us come together in community on December 21 between services, from 10:30ish to 11:00. We will meet in the Memorial Garden to share a reading and sing some songs. We will then proceed from the garden to the sidewalk along 35th Avenue NE to stand in silent vigil, holding our "Side with Love" banner and other Side with Love signs we can provide.
