Needing some time in silence, rest, and contemplation as the year turns? The UUC Zen group is offering space for renewal and contemplation at Rainbow Lodge Retreat Center (North Bend, WA), December 3-6, 2026. This is the third year the group has hosted local and out-of-state UU-friendly Zen practitioners and teachers, including an invitation to others who seek a place for spiritual retreat.

There are several options for participation: 

• As a Zen Practitioner, immersing yourself in silence and daily practice.
• As a Private Retreatant, creating your own experience. You may drop in to the Zen program any time, too.
• While full-time residential attendance is encouraged, part-time or commuter attendance may be possible. Zoom participation is also offered.

Accommodations are comfortable private or shared rooms. Meals are vegetarian and most special diets can be accommodated.

Need-based partial scholarships may be available to UUC members and friends registering for the Zen retreat. Please apply at time of registration.
