Sunday, June 28, 1-5 p.m. in downtown Seattle
Let's celebrate love, inclusion, and community by marching in the Seattle Pride Parade on Sunday, June 28. Join fellow UU congregations as we show our commitment to being a welcoming and loving community. You're invited to dress in UU swag, Side of Love, and rainbow attire—come as you are and walk in joyful solidarity. Bring water, sunscreen, snacks, and any essentials for the day, and consider wearing a nametag.
Getting there is easy with Link light rail. For accessibility, personal wheels such as wheelchairs, scooters, strollers, and wagons are welcome; please note we won’t have a vehicle this year, so plan to carry your belongings. You’re free to leave the route early if needed, though re-entry isn’t permitted.
We are looking for two UUC volunteers who can pick up and bring our UUC banner and return it to UUC (participants can rotate who carries it). Please contact Rev. Victoria if that could be you!
Watch closely and you'll see familiar UUC faces in the 2024 parade!
