Elliot Weeks holds Bachelor and Master degrees in music and has broad experience in choral, jazz, classical, musical theater, liturgical, and pop styles. For the past seven years he has directed choirs at Seattle Preparatory School, and has also directed choirs at The Northwest School of the Arts. 

Elliot is excited by the idea of working collaboratively with other artists at UUC, working with singers of all ages, and creating excellent music in a variety of styles. He is deeply committed to the intersections of choral music, social justice, and liturgical music and looks forward to making a meaningful contribution to this diverse and vibrant community.

Our new bass section leader is Charles Robert Stephens, who will begin at the end of September. Hailed by The New York Times as “a baritone of smooth distinction,” he has sung several roles with the New York City Opera and on numerous occasions at Carnegie Hall. Based now in Seattle, Charles has sung as soloist with the Seattle Symphony  and is very active with orchestras and opera companies throughout the Pacific NW. Having taught at Pacific Lutheran University and the University of Puget Sound, he now teaches voice privately in Seattle. Charles is excited to be joining the UUC Music Program!
