Meeting the Moment: Civic & Faith Communities in Solidarity with Immigrants

Saturday, April 18, 1-2:30 p.m.

Kiddish lunch at 12 noon

Keynote Speaker - Seattle Councilmember Alexis Mercedes Rinck

Register by Monday, April 6 at https://www.bethshalomseattle.org/form/refugee-shabbat-sign-up. Registration required for each attendee.

This event has welcomed many from UUC over the years, and is a great way to learn more about the deep connection between the work of many Jewish congregations in solidarity with refugees and asylum seekers, and the teachings of Judaism.

There will be opportunities to learn more about multifaith efforts and joining local efforts with the Jewish Coalition for Immigrant Justice, the Church Council of Greater Seattle, Faith Action Network and the Council of American Islamic Relations.

If you have questions, feel free to contact Pam Smith Mentz.
