Join the Care Team for a joyful workshop to practice this month's worship theme "Paying Attention” and implement strategies learned at the Fleagle workshop on responding to this moment.

Our goal: each participant comes out of the session with their own personal worksheet of strategies for transforming the conflicts that are part of social change. You'll use the power of attention in support of de-escalation and building a greater sense of community at UUC. (Maybe even finding a "buddy" for acting to resist injustice.)

We'll address four different contexts: intrapersonal (noticing and addressing our own feelings), interpersonal (co-regulating with another person), small group dynamics (responding to the temperature in small groups), and large group dynamics (using your voice and presence to affect participation). Please dress comfortably. Childcare available by request.
