Wednesday Forum

Wednesday, September 17, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. in Knatvold and via Zoom

The Wednesday Forum will resume on September 17 to catch up and plan the program for the coming year. Everyone’s homework is to find something the whole group could read, watch, or listen to, and then facilitate a conversation about. The Forum entertains different perspectives about current events on a local, national, or global scale. At the upcoming meeting, we will discuss ideas, and allot meeting dates for them. One topic suggested so far is "Conservation in Costa Rica," as a model for what could be done in the United States.

We would welcome your ideas on the 17th, or send them to Jane Sisk at janeesisk@gmail.com before then. There are about nine weeks available from early October until early February, when we will start discussing the Foreign Policy Association's 2026 Great Decision series. Depending on the topics, we could discuss more than one at a meeting.

We meet on the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Knatvold Room and via Zoom. All are welcome to join. If you are not already on the Forum list and would like to be, to receive the Zoom link and regular notices, please contact the UUC office at office@uuchurch.org or (206) 525-8400.
