At the next Wednesday Forum, Dina Butcher will lead a discussion of "What Happened" relating to the election results as we know them the day after.

Jason Matthews will be our guest speaker. He has engaged radio audiences and civic groups with commentary about election outcomes and political machinations with the program “What The Hell Just Happened.” He is an adjunct professor of political science at Bismarck State College in North Dakota, and also teaches Osher Lifelong Learning Institute courses. His consulting firm specializes in strategic planning and public affairs, and he has worked on several successful bipartisan statewide measures campaigns.

The Forum will cover the following subjects through early February, followed by the Foreign Policy Association’s Great Decisions 2027 topics:

November 18:  Thanksgiving Potluck

December 2:  Environment, Earthcare

December 16:  Holiday Potluck

January 6:  U.S. Government and Entanglement with Corporations

January 20:  Sunni and Shia

February 3:  Nuclear Energy

We meet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Knatvold room and via Zoom on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. All are welcome to join.
