Saturday, October 11, 12:30–4 p.m. in Nathan Johnson Hall
Why this gathering? Last spring, members of Social Justice Steering Committee (SJSC) fanned out and met with leaders of the various social justice teams at UUC. We wanted to know how we could help them succeed. One thing we heard rather clearly: the SJSC should exercise greater leadership in pulling congregants out of issue silos, overcoming despair, and working TOGETHER on perhaps three concrete actions for 2025–26.
So, we planned this revival to find common cause and joy and perhaps identify those three actions. Please come to share your stories of success, struggles, and hopes of working for justice in our church. We want to hear what reviving this work means for you and how we can act together to realize it.

And what is a justice revival without chili to heat you up for the work ahead? For those of you with crockpots we encourage you to bring a batch of your signature savory chili. Others can bring chips, salad, fruit or dessert. It would be great if there were some gluten free items. Come for food at 12:30 p.m. We will start the program at 1:00 p.m.
If you need childcare during the program (1–4 p.m.), please contact Walter Hatch and let him know the number and ages of your children. Children are welcome to join in the potluck (12:30–1 p.m.)
