Members’ Art Show Opening

Sunday, January 11, 1–3 p.m. in Nathan Johnson Hall and the chapel

All are invited to attend the Artist Reception on Sunday, January 11, 1–3 p.m. in Nathan Johnson Hall and the chapel. At this time, we will acknowledge the artists within our congregation, celebrate their creativity, and see their work on display in the 2026 Members’ Art Show. Refreshments will be served.

Each year or so, University Unitarian Church invites its members and friends to participate in a Members’ Art Show. This is not a juried exhibition; it is a celebration of the artistic talents of those within our congregation. Member artists are invited to bring one or two pieces for exhibit, and the Art Committee hangs as many pieces as possible.

Our member artists include people of varying ages. Some have had extensive formal art training; others are self-taught. Some engage in making art as a hobby; others pursue art as a profession. The work in this exhibit includes pieces from various media—drawing, painting, prints, collage, fabric arts, and more. The artists have selected their own subject matter.

The UUC Art Committee invites you to enjoy this display of art work created by artists in our midst!
