On July 17, the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s passing, University Unitarian members and others across the nation are taking action to defend our democracy and carry forward his legacy of Good Trouble.

After the service on July 13, let’s gather to ground ourselves in our UU values and principles in the Knatvold foom from 11 a.m.–12:15 p.m.

When: Thursday, July 17, 4:00 -8:00 pm
Where: The Seattle rally will be held at Seattle Central College, 1701 Broadway, Seattle, WA 98122 from 4:00 -8:00 pm. (We will arrange a meeting place for those attending this event.)
And remember—"March in Peace; Act in Power." Come with a commitment to nonviolence. All participants are expected to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
