Donate Blood at UUC

Tuesday, June 24, 11 a.m.–5 p.m. by appointment in Nathan Johnson Hall

It takes 1,000 volunteer donors each day to maintain a safe and reliable blood supply for patients in the Pacific Northwest; yet, less than 3% of eligible people donate. Hospitals depend on regular donors to provide lifesaving transfusions for those undergoing surgery, cancer treatment, or living with bleeding disorders. Giving blood is quick and impactful—in under an hour, you can help save a life!

Sign up now to make a blood donation at University Unitarian Church on Tuesday, June 24. Appointments are limited—sign up at this link or call 1-800-398-7888.

Walk-ins will be seen around scheduled donors; making an appointment is highly encouraged for the best donation experience. For safety, we kindly request no visitors under 16 at our donation sites. Eat a hearty meal and drink plenty of fluids prior to donation. No donations 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. (lunch break).

As an added bonus, all donors who donate in the month of June can enter to win a $3000 digital gift card. For more information, visit www.bloodworksnw.org/win.

Wondering if you're eligible to donate? You probably are, but check Bloodworks NW's eligibility page: bloodworksnw.org/donate/eligibility.
