Wednesday, December 17, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.
by appointment in Nathan Johnson Hall
In this season of giving, take an hour to give the best gift of all—a lifesaving pint of blood. When you give blood, Bloodworks Northwest will have you wrapped up in an hour or less, cookie in hand, with the warm feeling that you just gave local patients another shot at life. Your blood donations support people across the Pacific Northwest undergoing cancer treatment, surgeries, and organ transplants. Blood donations are needed year-round, but they’re most critical during holidays when donations drop and fewer people have time to donate.
Sign up now to make a blood donation at University Unitarian Church on December 17. Sign up at this link or call 1-800-398-7888.
Walk-ins will be seen around scheduled donors; making an appointment is highly encouraged for the best donation experience. (Same-day appointments often available, but we would love to have a full schedule ahead of time!) For safety, we kindly request no visitors under 16 at our donation sites. Eat a hearty meal and drink plenty of fluids prior to donation. No donations 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. (lunch break).
Wondering if you're eligible to donate? You probably are, but check Bloodworks NW's eligibility page: bloodworksnw.org/donate/eligibility.
