Dialogue Group: Resist!

Thursday, September 25, 7:00–8:45 p.m. in the Knatvold room

All are welcome to join the conversation as the 4th Principle Dialogue Group discusses how to resist rising authoritarianism. How does this time in our nation compare to previous times or to authoritarian rule in other countries? What would success look like? UUC has a long, proud history of liberal activism, so where does that put us today?

We’ll have a handout to spark discussion, but mostly we will hear from each other as we explore this important topic. Questions are as important as answers, so feel free to come even if you are short on suggestions.

The 4th Principle Dialogue Group meets on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of each month to promote the “free & responsible search for truth & meaning,” pursuing the congregational goal of Connected Community. We get to know each other and connect to each other through meaningful, open-hearted dialogue. Drop-ins welcome. Homework not required. See more in UU Connect.
