Last Saturday, we started our gathering with a spiritual experience led by UUC’s Director of Ministries, Janine Larsen. Based on the sharing, conversations, and chatter that we experienced in Knatvold, I am pretty sure it was a heart warming experience for all.

The numbers in attendance were equal to what we experienced before the pandemic. It seemed to be pretty equal between women new to the church and long time members. With more volunteers coming forward yesterday we should be able to plan some more activities in the very near future.

In the meantime, this Wednesday, and every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, there is a one-hour walk at Magnuson Park starting at 10 a.m. To meet up with us, enter Magnuson Park via the NE 65th St entrance and continue down the hill to the stop sign. Turn left and go to the end of the road where you can park on the road. We meet near the bathrooms. This is a great way to get exercise in the company of like-minded Wise Women. And there is definitely a social element to this experience—we do a lot of talking along the way!
