UUA General Assembly

June 22–26, 2022, in Portland, Oregon

UUA General Assembly, Multiplatform / Portland 2022 - Meet the Moment: Reimagining Radical Faith Community

Portland is the site of the UUA General Assembly, June 22–26—or attend online! General Assembly (GA) is the annual meeting of our Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). Participants worship, witness, learn, connect, and make policy for the Association through democratic process. Anyone may attend; UUC and other member congregations may appoint delegates to vote on issues coming before the Assembly. The business agenda for GA 2022 will be released at a later date.

This year, GA is expected to be a “multiplatform” event, meaning delegates and attendees have the option to meet on-site or online. The theme is “Meet the Moment: Reimagining Radical Faith Community.”

Registration for on-site attendance is open now; registration for virtual attendance will open in March. The GA Housing Reservation System is also open. Registration is required for all attendees; rates vary. Limited financial support for registration and housing may be available through the UUA. Delegates must be registered in order to participate and vote; there is an option for delegates to choose business-only virtual registration at no fee. Note this option does not provide access to most GA content.

If you might be interested in serving as a UUC Delegate, contact UUC Director of Ministries Janine Larsen, who will track potential delegates for Board appointment.

Some virtual GA programs will be open to the public to observe online without charge; UUC may schedule the closing worship as our June 26 Sunday Service. For more information on UUA General Assembly, visit the UUA website.
