UU Wellspring Reads: Sacred Earth
Beginning in mid-October; applications available soon

Our spring Reflection Groups were so well received at UUC, we’re excited to announce a new spiritual deepening opportunity beginning this fall—UU Wellspring Reads: Sacred Earth. Like our Reflection Groups, participants will meet in small groups to engage spiritual practices in six two-hour sessions, using a guiding text. This time, the curriculum was developed through the UU Wellspring program, which is known to UUC for its year-long introduction to UU spiritual practice and several follow-on programs.
Applications will be available online and in the church office in early September, and must be submitted no later than September 25. Groups will be formed by September 30 and will begin in mid-October. Choices for meeting days and times and options for in-person or on-line will be available.
Two books are required as guiding texts, both available at the UUC Bookstore and through commercial booksellers or public libraries:
- Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants by Robin Wall Kimmerer
- The Sustainable Soul: Reflections and Practices by Rebecca James Hecking
The application will provide more information. There is no charge to participate.
