UU Wellspring Information Session

Sunday, May 15, 12:30–1:30 p.m. in Knatvold or via Zoom

UU Wellspring, spiritual deepening for the UU soul

UU Wellspring is an intensive, 10-month spiritual deepening program specifically designed for experienced UUs who yearn to more intentionally reflect on spiritual questions in our faith.

Developed within the First Unitarian Church of Rochester, NY, the program has been offered at UUC most years since 2010, though we did take a few years off during our years of building renovation and pandemic displacement. More than 100 UUC members and friends have engaged UU Wellspring so far. UU Wellspring offers a spiritual journey dedicated to claiming, re-imagining, and practicing the ever-evolving living tradition of our faith.

The program requires a commitment to twice-a-month, two-hour cohort group meetings held late September through early June, plus an Orientation Breakfast and Opening Retreat in August/ September. In addition to the small group meetings, participants engage in study, daily spiritual practice, and regular meetings with a professional spiritual director. There is a fee for the course, though UUC maintains a scholarship fund and lending library so that cost is not a barrier to participation.

If you feel called, please come to the information session on Sunday, May 15, from 12:30–1:30 p.m. to learn more and to help you decide whether UU Wellspring is a commitment you would like to make. Zoom attendance at this session is also an option – see the post in UUC Connect “Zoom Links for UUC Gatherings” for the Zoom link.

Applications for the 2022/23 program will be available at the session or online and are due by June 30.
