Update: November 13 Online Congregational Meeting

Sunday, November 13, 1 p.m. via Zoom webinar

As previously announced, the UUC Board is calling an online congregational meeting on Sunday, November 13 for the congregation to weigh in on whether to host Tent City 3 in the UUC parking lot next spring. This will be an advisory vote from the congregation. Reverend Jon Luopa will make this decision as the steward of church resources, but the opinions and perspectives of the congregation will be a vital and primary factor as he does so. 

The agenda will include a period for brief commentary as well as for questions and answers, followed by the formal motion, discussion and vote. The proposed agenda and additional details will be posted next week, no later than October 28.

• Voting members will be registered in advance and receive an invitation and link to the Zoom webinar.
• Absentee ballots will be available for those not able to attend.
• For community members not eligible to vote, the meeting will be available to view via livestream.
