Until we feel ready to loosen our protocols at UUC: Please stay home if you have cold or flu-like symptoms. We require all eligible attendees to be fully vaccinated, to provide proof of vaccination, and to wear face masks while in the building. We allow exceptions for children who are not yet eligible to be vaccinated, but can wear facemasks. Attendees of all ages, please continue to check in at a kiosk when entering the building.
Congregational singing (masked) has resumed! Congregants who would like to sing or hum are asked to wear a high-quality, non-fabric, well-fitting facemasks in the chapel, such as N-95 or KN-95. UUC will have such masks available if you need to upgrade yours now that we’re singing together. Thank you for your support of everyone’s well-being as we continue to exercise caution while watching coronavirus trends. (Read our latest Covid protocols here.)
Sprouts Care (ages 6 months–4 1/2 years): Quality and loving childcare is available to our youngest community members, in our Sprouts classroom during the service. Facemasks are encouraged for children under age 5 who are able to wear them.
Elementary RE (K–5th Grade): Activities for children in grades K–5 are available during the service in the Alcott classroom, where they will find materials for creative play and crafting. Proof of vaccination and facemasks are currently required for all.
(Our more comprehensive religious education programs for children and youth will resume in the fall.)
Coffee & Conversations
We invite you to pick up a cup of coffee or tea and a cookie or two in Nathan Johnson Hall following the Sunday Service, and enjoy getting to know someone you’re meeting for the first time or catching up with longtime friends. Remember that facemasks are still required by UUC when inside the building – take a quick sip or bite and put your mask back in place, please. You are always welcome to invite others to join you outside the upper and lower entrances for mask-free coffee and conversations.
Other Sunday Meetings
Our Sunday Welcoming Volunteers are happy to help you find your way in the building. Consult the way-finding directories near upper & lower entries for meeting locations. Our UUC Calendar online lists all Sunday activities and locations, whether they are on-site or via Zoom (or both).
Getting Zoom Links
We are using Zoom as an online meeting option. These links are not public to avoid intentional disruption. (For more information on why, please see Zoom Info for UUC Gatherings.)
Contact the meeting organizer or email the church office if you are unable to access the Zoom Links in UUC Connect, our password-protected resource for church members and friends. If you’d like to join us in our online community, please fill out our online Connections form.
