Staffing Update: Stacy Carlson
We are delighted to announce that Stacy Carlson has joined the UUC staff as our new Member Engagement and Support Assistant. Stacy has been a member of the church since 1995, along with her spouse Steve and their daughters Meredith and Mackenzie. Along the way, Stacy has served in a variety of leadership roles including our Physical Space Implementation Team (PSIT), Connections Team, Membership Committee, Human Resources Committee, Church School Advisory Team, and the Board of Trustees.
In her new role, Stacy will help visitors and congregants find their way at UUC and connect meaningfully with our programs, people, and community. Stacy will work closely with our Connections Team volunteers who conduct UUC Info Sessions after every Sunday Service, following up on requests for more information. Twice a month or more, Stacy will staff the Church Office on Sundays to answer questions and offer support in finding, joining, and facilitating Small Groups, registering for classes, reserving meeting rooms, and learning to use UUC Connect to fine tune their profiles and preferences, give online, volunteer, and more.
Stacy says “I’m really excited to reconnect with you all, and meet all the new people who have joined us during the last two years. Stop by the office on Sundays, or reach out digitally, for a hi, a hug or help with navigating church life. I look forward to seeing you!
As Stacy splits her time with UUC and the joys of retirement, she’ll pursue a special passion—discovering the wonders of our National Parks up close and personal. She’ll be off for two weeks at the end of March, for example, to explore a few of the parks of the Southeast: Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains, Mammoth Cave, and wherever the road leads her.
Thanks for sharing the path with all of us, Stacy!
