Send Meeting Requests to Calendaring Team
UUC groups are enthusiastically returning to UUC for meetings throughout the week, often requesting virtual attendance options as well. The volume of requests has been overwhelming, causing delays, mistakes, and frustration for our members and friends.
So we have upgraded our process for meeting requests/room reservations. UUC groups can now reserve space in the building, in our outside locations, on Zoom, or at a Learning Station through our new Calendaring Team, using the email address firstname.lastname@example.org. (You will receive a confirmation email letting you know our Calendaring Team has received your request.)
We encourage groups to provide options for on-site and online attendance for all meetings. This will welcome as many participants as possible while respecting both the need and the readiness of individuals to meet in person or through Zoom. UUC groups may also reserve the Learning Station in Nathan Johnson Hall (south end of the counter) or the Atrium (lower entry) on Sundays from 9 a.m.–12:45 p.m.
A few requests and reminders:
- Please provide us with as much lead time as possible before your event. Let us know how many will attend physically, whether you need a Zoom connection or will be showing a presentation, how you would like the room set up, and whether you have a room preference already in mind.
- Submitting a space request does not represent a confirmed reservation. A member of the Calendaring Team will contact you with questions or a confirmation within a few days. Please check the UUC Calendar listing to make sure your information is correct.
- Sunday meeting rooms are generally available for programs beginning at 12:30 p.m. Room use between worship services is very limited. We generally do not reserve rooms for use during Sunday services, to allow church programs to be available to the whole congregation.
- Evening meetings must conclude and exit the building by 9 p.m.
