Sunday, April 10, in-person, online or by mail

UUC’s Second Sunday Dedicated Plate donations on April 10 will go to the United Churches Emergency Fund (UCEF). We invite you to help prevent homelessness by contributing to UCEF via this Second Sunday plate. You may add your donation to the plate in person on Sunday, donate online through UUC Connect (select “Special Plate”) or send your check to the UUC office, writing “2nd Sunday Plate—April” on the memo line.

The United Churches Emergency Fund, established in 1986 by a group of churches in the University District, provides eviction protection to keep families and individuals from becoming homeless, as well as assistance to homeless families or individuals moving into housing. Payments of up to $250 for rental assistance or move-in costs can be mailed directly to a landlord on behalf of a tenant, or to the City of Seattle to assist with utility bills. Compassionate listening and referrals to other supportive programs are also available.
