Cover of Salmon: A Fish, the Earth, and the History of Their Common Fate by Mark Kurlansky

We decided to jump right to reading Salmon: A Fish, the Earth, and the History of Their Common Fate by Mark Kurlansky for this month’s book. The content dovetails nicely with last month’s book Eager: The secret life of Beavers.

This meeting will be a potluck at a member’s home (outside on a deck). Please contact Liz Straus (estrausz@comcast.net) if you would like to attend.

We will not meet in July or August.

In August we will choose the books for next fall and winter. Please either post suggestions to the Science Book Group in UUC Connect or email Viv Ilo Veith at viv@vividlyclear.com.

Join the Science Book Group on UUC Connect to get on our “mailing list.”

P.S. Sorry for the late notice on the book change. I hope we did not screw up anyone’s reading plans. ~Viv Ilo.
