Science Book Group
Tuesday, May 24, 7:00–8:30 p.m. via Zoom
We are completing the discussion of Eager: The Surprising, Secret Life of Beavers and Why They Matter by Ben Goldfarb. You do not need to have read the book to attend the meeting, but it is recommended that you have an interest in beavers.
Keeping with the Natural Science theme our June book will be Salmon: A Fish, the Earth, and the History of Their Common Fate. The award-winning author, Mark Kurlansky, says this is the most important piece of environmental writing in his long career. He is also the author of Salt: A World History and many other significant books. The book will be discussed over a potluck hosted out of doors at a members home.
Please sign up for the Science Book Group on UUC Connect to receive more information, including the Zoom link.
