Sundays, July 17 & 24, 10:40 a.m.–1:00 p.m. in Knatvold, by registration

Learn about Unitarian Universalism (UU) and University Unitarian Church (UUC) through Exploring UU and UUC in community with others. Our next class will be in person in the Knatvold Room at UUC on July 17 & 24. Registration is required and is open now. Childcare is available if reserved by Wednesday, July 6. A light brunch will be offered.

Exploring UU classes are open to anyone who would like to meet others and learn more about this church and Unitarian Universalism. We offer this class quarterly or so, in different formats. The class includes a mix of reading, video, discussion, reflection, sharing, and Q&A with church leaders.

We will consider Unitarian Universalist history and theology, and the specific history of University Unitarian Church. Participants will also meet leaders involved in some of UUC’s core ministries, such as Social Justice, Care Team, Family Ministry, Stewardship and the Board of Trustees.

The class fulfills the education requirement to become a member of UUC, and invites (but does not require) participants to join the church when they are ready. Janine Larsen, UUC Director of Ministries, will facilitate, along with invited guests.
