Canceled: Family Ministry Luncheon and Reflection
Sunday, April 3, 12:15–2:00 p.m. at UUC
This event has been canceled. Please take a look at other opportunities to enjoy a small group Resilience Gathering scheduled through April 13.
Join other families to (re)connect with each other and share a meal provided by UUC. Then spend an hour in small groups reflecting on this year’s Giving Campaign theme—Resilience: Overcoming and Becoming.
Register here through UUC Connect.
We want to help parents and families connect with each other and build community through offering resilience gatherings specifically for parents.
Following the second worship service on April 3, we will begin from 12:15–1:00 p.m. with a catered lunch from Panera for parents, children and youth in Knatvold and on the East Patio.
Panera catering is available only to people who register before 12 noon on Thursday, March 31. If you register after this time, you’re welcome to attend but you should bring your own lunch.
Following lunch will be two resiliency gatherings for parents, with childcare provided. One gathering is for Elementary and Sprouts parents, in Channing, and the other gathering is for parents of middle and high school youth in Fahs-Mann. We will provide childcare for Sprouts and Elementary age children from 1–2 p.m. in Alcott.
Newcomers are welcome to attend. If you’ve already signed up for a Stories of Resilience gathering, you are welcome to attend this as well, as this event is focused on parents with children and youth enrolled in UUC programs. No one will be asked to make a pledge at this gathering.
We look forward to spending time with you!
