Exploring UU Class in February
Saturdays, February 12 & 19, 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m. in Knatvold, by registration
Learn about Unitarian Universalism (UU) and University Unitarian Church (UUC) through Exploring UU, an introductory course. Our next class will be in person in the Knatvold room at UUC on February 12 and 19.
Exploring UU classes are open to anyone who would like to meet others and learn more about the church and Unitarian Universalism. We offer this class several times per year in different formats. The class includes a mix of learning, discussion and relational connecting.
We will learn about Unitarian Universalist history and theology, and the specific history of University Unitarian Church. Participants will also meet congregants involved in UUC’s ministries, such as social justice, the care team and stewardship.
The class fulfills the education requirement to become a member of UUC, but does not require that participants become members. This February Exploring UU session will be taught by Melody Moberg, who is UUC’s Director of Family Ministry and a candidate for Unitarian Universalist ministry.
