Winter Service of Solace

Wednesday, December 8, 7–8 p.m. in the UUC chapel or via live stream

Rows of lit tealights and three lit pillar candles in an otherwise dark place

Please join our annual Winter Service of Solace for a meditative evening of music, candle lighting and reflection. The holidays can be a particularly poignant time for anyone who is grieving a loss or missing a loved one around the dinner table. This service is designed to hold space for grief during the holidays and is also open to anyone needing an evening of respite and reflection from some of the forced cheer of the Christmas season. The hope of this service is to provide people a place just to be and have their hearts held.

This service is open to the community—bring a friend who might be in need of some solace this season.

Free childcare is available. Email care@uuchurch.org to register your child.

You can join in person at UUC or attend via livestream at https://www.uuchurch.org/sunday-service-live-stream/.

This event is organized by UUC’s Care Team and Rev. Beth Chronister.
