Upcoming Intergenerational Worship Services and Services With Childcare

In July and August 2021, University Unitarian Church will offer some on-site programming options for children and youth during the worship service. On these “Full Community Sundays,” all are welcome to attend the worship service regardless of vaccination status, in order to make worship accessible to families with children under 12, who are not yet eligible for vaccination. On these dates, all worship attendees, regardless of vaccination status, will be expected to wear masks to support those who are vulnerable.

Sunday, July 18: Intergenerational worship service from 9:30–10:30 a.m., led by Rev. Beth Chronister. Teens and children are invited to attend worship. Childcare will be provided in the Sprouts classroom for children ages 4 1/2 and under, from 9:20–10:30 a.m.

Sunday, August 1: Outdoor activities will be provided during the worship service for children ages 4 1/2 and up, from 9:20–10:30 a.m. Childcare will be provided in the Sprouts classroom for children ages 4 1/2 and under, from 9:20–10:30 a.m. by pre-registration.

August 15: Intergenerational worship service from 9:30–10:30 a.m., led by Melody Moberg and Aria Curtis. Teens and children are invited to attend worship. Childcare will be provided in the Sprouts classroom for children ages 4 1/2 and under, from 9:20–10:30 a.m. by pre-registration. Melody and Aria take seriously the risks posed to our youngest community members when we gather for worship. Following King County Health Department guidelines we will be limiting space in Sprouts to 10 children and ask that families who require childcare during worship reserve a spot ahead of time.
