Justin Almeida - head shot

Join Rev. Justin Almeida for Between the Bible and the 8th Principle: Antiracism as a Spiritual Practice where we will explore The Bible (Hebrew and Christian scriptures) and Unitarian Universalism through the lens of antiracism. Historically, both Unitarianism and Universalism emerged out of liberal Christianity and its holy writings. As our faith considers covenanting to an 8th principle, we continue this tradition in exploring spiritual insights through scripture to help spiritually ground our commitment in being a community that awakens spirit, nurtures hope and inspires action!

This class will be held in-person at UUC. Attendees must be fully vaccinated and present proof of vaccination. It will have an interactive, participatory format, guided by resources and brief presentations offered by Rev. Almeida. Advance registration is requested so that we may better prepare for everyone’s participation.
