Trees for Votes!

Calling all climate justice superheroes! The Youth and Family Justice Team invites you to join us in a Trees for Votes challenge: We are collecting drawings, photos, and written statements from the UUC congregation and friends about why climate justice matters to YOU! These will be compiled and sent to all of our local state legislators (representing the UUC district) letting them know we NEED them to vote for climate justice this coming session. For each yay vote on climate justice bills this session, the Youth and Family Justice Team is pledging to plant a tree. For example, if there are 100 votes for climate justice bills this session, we will plant 100 trees! We will use the organization One Tree Planted to make the donation. We’re hoping lots of families and members at UUC will send letters and pictures!
