Sunday Welcoming Volunteers—Ready to Grow!

Ready to welcome some new friends into your church and maybe into your circle of friends? Sign up to join the fun as a Sunday Greeter, an Usher, or a member of the Coffee Crew! We’re also eager to welcome some additional Sermon Discussion facilitators, Vaccination Verifiers, and Check-in Volunteers.

To raise your hand, heart, and spirits, log into UUC Connect and click “Serving” in the left-hand menu. On the Serving page, click on the “Opportunities” tab. After you’ve reviewed current openings, click on the name of any role, and check the box for any roles you’re interested in trying out. Click the “Submit Your Interest” button at the bottom right, and before you know it, one of our Sunday Welcoming Team Leaders will be in touch to answer your questions, help you match your interests with the right team, set up a schedule, and get started! Easy.

And while you’re right there, why not click on the “Overview” tab and click that blue button to tell us more about your skills and interests? One of our Connections Team members will let you know we’ve received your info, and will offer to match you up with a project or program leader if you’re ready to explore UUC in a new way. Or visit our Connections Station on Sunday morning at the west counter in Nathan Johnson Hall and talk with one of our Connections Volunteers any Sunday. You can pick up and/or drop off a volunteer interest form in the Church Office, too. We’re so glad you’re here at UUC!
