October 31 is Pumpkin Sunday!

Halloween falls on a Sunday this year, so let’s have a UUC Pumpkin Party! Two ways to celebrate:
- Bakers, please bring pumpkin themed cookies, muffins, scones, quick breads, etc., to share for our Coffee & Conversations time after each service. As always, please bring treats ready-to-eat (i.e., pre-cut, no plate or utensil required) and drop off your goodies at the kitchen window in Nathan Johnson Hall. We’ll have “what’s in this” forms or bring your own note about ingredients to help those with dietary restrictions. Vegan/gluten-free treats are always welcome. Remember to label your container or serving plate to pick up and take home!
- Pumpkin artists, drop off your carved or decorated Jack-o’-Lantern at any display table throughout the building. We’ll have “Creator’s Name(s)” labels at the tables so everyone can admire your work. If you have a multi-pumpkin sculpture that’s table-top size, that’s welcome too! No lit candles, please. Pick up your pumpkin on your way home, for Halloween night.
Children are welcome to wear Halloween costumes for programs at 11:15 a.m. and for our afternoon Trunk or Treat celebration from 2–3 p.m. (Sorry, Trunk or Treat has been cancelled.) Remember to wear masks to protect against Covid-19 as part of any costume.
