Nurturing Connections: Partnership with Lake City Partners

Our partnership with Lake City Partners Ending Homelessness is in its second year, as part of the Economic Justice Team’s activities. Since the Winter Shelter opened last October, over 50 UUC members and families have provided 18 dinners and 20 breakfasts for the guests at the shelter. We also donated $9,500 from our holiday offerings to support their new shelter, which will be opening soon. It will provide round-the-clock shelter for vulnerable people, with wrap around services. This video will share more information about how our community partnership and connections with each other at UUC have been nurtured over the past year.
