Thursday, February 25, 2:00–3:30 p.m. via Zoom

[Note: date has been corrected]

Please join us next Thursday for our monthly meeting. This month the team will continue planning for our upcoming event to be held on Sunday, March 21: Islam and Women: A Panel Discussion. The panel discussion will feature Muslim women, led by Aneelah Afzali, Executive Director of the American Muslim Empowerment Network (Muslim Association of Puget Sound). Aneelah Afzali spoke from the pulpit at UUC in summer 2019 and is a leading figure in women’s empowerment within her faith community and in ecumenical outreach to other faiths. Mark your calendars and register through UUC Connect.

For questions about the team, please contact Nancy Maranville.

The UUC Interfaith Justice Team partners with nearby faith communities to oppose anti-Semitism, Islamophobia and other forms of religious intolerance through constructive collaboration and effective modes of ally-ship.
