Economic Justice Team Meeting

What is a just, equitable, and compassionate economy? As the state legislature wrestles with tax and spending proposals, we hope Washingtonians will reconsider our fixation with regressive taxes. What can we say to persuade people that the highest income people should pay more than an average of 3 percent of their income, while those in the lowest income group pay nearly 18 percent? Meanwhile, how can we best help those most in need? Join us after the service on Sunday.
