Economic Justice Team Meeting

The Covid-19 pandemic continues to accelerate economic inequality locally and globally. While Covid-19 deaths fall disproportionately on elders, the economic recession hits already disadvantaged groups: low wage earners, people of color, and women. In the past 12 months, 2.3 million women left the workforce. The workforce participation rate for women has not been so low since 1988.
