DRUUMM Regional Caucuses
Saturday, September 18, 1:00–3:30 p.m. via Zoom
If you identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, or Person of Color) you’re invited to participate in the DRUUMM Regional Caucuses on Saturday, September 18, from 1:00–3:30 p.m. Pacific time.
The intention of these member-led BIPOC spaces is to deepen our connections with one another, be present to one another’s stories and truth, and foster systems of care. This is sacred work that makes space for the spirit and shapes our UU faith. Members will gather via our virtual Zoom room and caucuses will meet in breakout rooms with facilitators. Our agenda will center on relationship building, sharing your story, and checking in. We’ll be focusing our discussion on the ways we are sustained and uplifted as Unitarian Universalists. This is a BIPOC-only program. Allies for Racial Equity will be hosting a concurrent caucus for White anti-racist allies; see www.uuare.org.
This Zoom event is free for DRUUMM Members. $15 USD for BIPOC friends. Register at https://druumm.wildapricot.org/event-4447188. Our theme is Unitarian Universalist’s Promise for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. More information about this event, along with information about other upcoming events including an Indigenous/Native Caucus and Latinx Caucus are posted on www.druumm.org.
