Have you heard the buzz around the New York Times bestseller, Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents? Pulitzer Prize winner Isabel Wilkerson explores how America has been shaped by a hidden caste system similar to those in India and Nazi Germany – a rigid hierarchy of human rankings that requires a bottom rung for those in the middle to measure themselves against.

UUC members Carolyn Cunningham and Betsy Lieberman will facilitate an online conversation about the book on Wednesday, January 20. Consider securing a copy of the 476-page book and participating in the conversation.

The book is available from the UUA Bookstore. The Seattle Public Library has made it one of their Peak Picks and may have copies available.)
